A BIG THANKS goes out to Orchard Glen apartments for having the confidence in us to tackle this big project.
Denver Water did a yearly inspection and ordered all buildings to have backflow devices installed on the fresh water supplies.
We were able to meet the deadline with all buildings inspected and certified.

Here is another set of two way sweep cleanouts that we installed at this apartment building.
This building was built in the early 1960's and had no accessible cleanouts for routine root cleanings.
We were able to locate the pipeline and make this big upgrade of the 4" sweep cleanouts.
Now we can get a full 4" root cutter into the pipeline from outside the building.

Here we are installing another set of two way sweep cleanouts along with @ 15' of pipeline.
This retired couple called us for a second opinion after the first two companies said they needed a $18000 - $20000 sewer repair.
We came out and did our own sewer scope inspection and found that only 15' of pipe had any issues and the rest of the pipeline was in excellent condition.
We were able to make the repairs at a small fraction of what the other companies were trying to sell.
Beware of the "Free sewer scope" guys.
They work on commission and only get paid if they sell you a sewer repair, they are not sewer professionals, they are salesmen and they are especially aggressive with the elderly.
Remember, there's no such thing as a "free" sewer scope inspection.

Here we are performing a routine root cleaning and sewer scope inspection.
This house is for sale and the buyers asked for an inspection of the sewer, where roots were found throughout the pipeline.
We recommend an annual root cleaning schedule for anyone who has a clay pipeline, and if you are selling your house, do a full sewer scope inspection before you list it for sale, that way you won't have any big surprises later.
If you are buying a house, remember to always get a sewer scope inspection first, that way you're not stuck with a big expensive repair job.
Yearly root cleanings are considered routine maintenance in clay pipe sewers.
