Quick Tips on Clogs
Clogs are one of the most common homeowner problems. They are not only an annoyance, but can also lead to overflows and water damage. Keep your drains clog-free by implementing these easy preventative practices.
• Never flush sanitary napkins, baby wipes, or very thick toilet paper down the toilet. These can expand or get caught on corroding pipes and cause clogs. Instead, dispose of them in bio-degradable bags, such as the ones produced by Golden Group International. This not only prevents clogs but also is an eco-friendly way to dispose of soiled sanitary products.
• Do not use liquid cleaning supplies meant to clear clogs. These cleaners can damage pipes. Rather, try using a plumbing snake or plunger.
• Utilize strainers to catch hair in showers and tubs.
• Never put fat, grease, or cooking oils down the drain. These fats solidify in cold pipes and cause clogs. To dispose, put it in a Tupperware and leave it on your counter until it solidifies. Then dispose of it in a compost bin for garbage collection.

A BIG THANKS goes out to the McDonalds Corporation for having the confidence in us to tackle a big sewer issue.
This S. Colorado Blvd McDonalds was having a serious sewage backup that was overflowing into the drive up window area driveway.... not a nice way to pick up your burgers!
We were able to pinpoint the broken pipe and then make repairs.

A BIG THANKS goes out to Jeff for having the confidence in us to replace his main sewer service.
Orangeburg is a heavy cardboard kind of pipe that was originally used for electrical conduit, but then used for drainage pipes in the late 1940's to about 1970 when other materials were scarce or expensive.
It's amazing that this cardboard pipe has lasted this long.

A BIG THANKS goes out to Dick at 84th Ave Partners for his continued trust in us to tackle the tough jobs.
This 4 story office building was flooding raw sewage into the elevator shaft, not a pretty sight.
We were able to pinpoint the pipe location, excavate and install two way sweep cleanouts.
The pipe was over 200' long and jammed pack with decades of root growth. We were able to clear them out with a combination of heavy root blades and powerful sewer jetting.
