A BIG THANKS goes out to Jay for having the confidence in us to tackle an emergency sewer repair. This multi unit home is @ 100 years old and the sewer is in bad shape. We located the break, installed some two way cleanouts, then power jetted the remainder of the pipe to get some flow. There are still more issues to be fixed, but this repair opened up the pipe for tenants to use until further repairs can be made.

A "BIG THANKS" goes out to Kiki & Jim for having the confidence in us to repair an ongoing sewer problem.
Kiki had contacted us about a sewer smell coming from the basement, so we did a sewer scope inspection and found that the the pipe was completely blocked and separated with roots in one section and had significant roots in another section.
Plus, the sewer main is 125' away from the basement cleanout... that's too far to clean roots in a 4" pipe from a 3" basement cleanout.
We were able to pinpoint the exact location of the blockage, remove the broken section, and install two way 4" cleanouts. Now we have full access to the sewer pipe, from outside the house, for future cleanings.
Remember, once a year root cleaning is normal and is considered routine maintenance for clay pipe. If you cut the roots regularly, you take away their power to break the clay pipe.
