A BIG THANKS goes out to Marilyn Ann for having the confidence in us to repair a sewer problem in a rental home.
After several attempts to clean the sewer from the original cleanout failed, we were able to get a hole punched through some heavy roots that had shifted a 45 degree fitting out in the yard and packed the pipe full of roots and dirt.
A sewer scope allowed us to pinpoint the broken fitting, excavate and install a set of 4" outside cleanouts in the front yard, repairing the broken fitting and giving us a full 4" outside access point for future cleanings.
Marilyn Anns original cleanout in the basement is @ 130' away from the City main, 4' off the ground and behind a wall, making it virtually impossible to reach with a heavy root cable machine.
These outside cleanouts are a big improvement and will extend the life of this sewer for many more years to come.
Remember, if you have clay or concrete sewer pipes, once a year root cleaning is routine maintenance to keep the roots in check and take away there power to break the pipe.
