 A home buyer called us to do a sewer scope inspection on a very nice home in Littleton. We found that the clay pipe was full of roots in the yard that the seller didn't know about. Of course, the buyer doesn't want to commit to a house with a big sewer problem, so we talked to both sides and suggested that a yard repair with outside cleanouts would repair the separated sections of pipe and also provide a full 4" access for future cleanings, all for a lot less than replacing the whole sewer, about $6000.00 less. The seller agreed to the repairs, both parties are very happy with the results, and the deal was saved. Remember, sometimes sellers don't know that they have a sewer problem or are reluctant to disclose the problems... Get a sewer scope inspection before you buy any house, it's a small investment that just might save you thousands of dollars.

Thanks to Eric for choosing Discount Sewer & Drain to repair his Denver Sewer tap. We were able to not only repair the sewer tap break but also install some two way cleanouts just inside of his fence. This will provide a full 4" access for future root cleanings. Another company told him that a full sewer excavation was the only way to fix his pipe, that's not always true. In this case, the sewer tap was cored with roots but the rest of the pipe looks very good for it's age. Now that the 4" outside cleanouts are installed, Eric will get many more years of service from this sewer at a fraction of the cost the other "BIG NAME ROOTER" company tried to sell him. If someone is telling you that you must excavate everything let us sewer scope your line and give you a second opinion... It might just save you thousands of dollars!

Thanks to Lakewood Grill for having the confidence in us to tackle a difficult sewer repair. The old existing sewer underneath bar was rotted out. To make matters worse, the pipe was encased in two feet of concrete foundation walls where the two buildings were joined together sometime in the 1960's. Traditional removal was out of the question, so we re- routed the entire drain pipe system, core drilled the foundation, saw cut and excavated two layers of patio plus part of the parking lot to make the connection. Everything works great and should give many more years of trouble free service.
