A BIG THANKS goes out to Sue who had the confidence in us to tackle a big sewer replacement.
Sue has a beautiful landscaped backyard, unfortunately the failed sewer pipe is underneath all those trees.
This sewer had a long belly, or sag, requiring us to remove the whole pipe and replace it with new.

A BIG THANKS goes out to Lois for having the confidence in us to solve an ongoing sewer problem.
This house has no inside sewer access and has been experiencing sewage floods in the bathroom.
We were able to locate the pipe in the front yard and install a set of 4" sweep cleanouts. We now have a full outside access point to clean out the roots.
Yearly root cleaning is normal for clay pipe of this era.

A BIG THANKS goes out to Cady Plumbing for their continued trust in us to get the job done right.
Here we have a difficult two pipe sewer system with and old abandoned grease trap in the middle. One of the pipes was completely broken and out of service.
We found a total of three breaks in the two different pipes, luckily all in the same general area.
We were able to pinpoint the breaks, make repairs, then install two sets of 4" sweep cleanouts for any future cleaning needs.

Quick Tips on Clogs
Clogs are one of the most common homeowner problems. They are not only an annoyance, but can also lead to overflows and water damage. Keep your drains clog-free by implementing these easy preventative practices.
• Never flush sanitary napkins, baby wipes, or very thick toilet paper down the toilet. These can expand or get caught on corroding pipes and cause clogs. Instead, dispose of them in bio-degradable bags, such as the ones produced by Golden Group International. This not only prevents clogs but also is an eco-friendly way to dispose of soiled sanitary products.
• Do not use liquid cleaning supplies meant to clear clogs. These cleaners can damage pipes. Rather, try using a plumbing snake or plunger.
• Utilize strainers to catch hair in showers and tubs.
• Never put fat, grease, or cooking oils down the drain. These fats solidify in cold pipes and cause clogs. To dispose, put it in a Tupperware and leave it on your counter until it solidifies. Then dispose of it in a compost bin for garbage collection.

A BIG THANKS goes out to Jeff for having the confidence in us to replace his main sewer service.
Orangeburg is a heavy cardboard kind of pipe that was originally used for electrical conduit, but then used for drainage pipes in the late 1940's to about 1970 when other materials were scarce or expensive.
It's amazing that this cardboard pipe has lasted this long.

A BIG THANKS goes out to Lee and Phil for having the confidence in us to tackle a tough underground sewer and water repair.
Both lines are underneath the driveway, plus an addition to the house, making it just that much more difficult.
We used our pneumatic mole system to bore a new line under the addition and foundation footer into the basement.
Then we repaired a bad section of sewer pipe and also installed two way 4" outside cleanouts into the sewer line for future root cleaning maintenance.

A BIG THANKS goes out to Greg and Keith for having the confidence in us to upgrade the sewer system.
Poor crawlspace access and a 3" cleanout was preventing the cleaning of several root intrusions throughout the pipe.
We were able to locate an accessible spot, install two way 4" sweep cleanouts, and then use a 4" root blade to cut out those heavy roots.

A BIG THANKS goes out to Holly for having the confidence in us to tackle an ongoing sewer problem.
This home was built before the City Sewer was installed, therefore several original homeowners got together and installed a common pipe, routed to the next street over, just to service these five homes.
This individual service pipe has been sagging for years, causing repeated sewage floods and service outages. We've been keeping it running for the last five years by power jetting, but now the pipe has finally broken.
We were able to pinpoint the exact location of the sagged section and broken pipe, make repairs, then inspect the remainder of the service pipe and the common shared pipe.
We installed a set of 4" sweep cleanouts to give us a better access point for future cleanings.

When we arrived at this house it had 3" of standing water flooding the entire basement.
Ed had tried a rental sewer machine, but it broke through the pipe and drilled into the ground.
We were able to electronically locate the broken cable under the concrete, excavate and make repairs.
We also installed a full sump pump system for the high water table in this area.

We were able to cut out the broken section, attach it to the new stack, and add in a much needed floor drain at the same time.

A BIG THANKS goes out to Connie for having the confidence in us to trouble shoot an on going problem. Connies house has a crawlspace with no access to the main sewer. Other companies have tried to clean it out before from a two inch pipe, and we gave it our best try, with no luck.
A full size cleanout is the only way to effectively clean a 4" sewer pipe, so we installed one.
We were able to connect it to the existing stack and route it to the crawlspace drop, without a full excavation in the front yard. We fixed an older failed repair at the same time. Now we have an accessible pipe to clean out the roots.

A home inspection sewer scope revealed a cracked tap connection at the City Main in the street. We were able to excavate and replace the tap, along with @ 8' of pipe. The rest of the line looks good, it already has a set of 4" outside cleanouts, which is a big upgrade in itself.
This sewer should give many more years of trouble free service.

A BIG THANKS goes out to Misty for having the confidence in us to tackle another tough sewer repair.
Misty's old clay sewer pipe was broken with roots in many different spots plus it sits underneath a giant tree. The kitchen pipe was also still piped in to an old, non - working grease trap in the yard.
The kitchen sink has been draining into a bucket for quite some time.
We were able to re-route the main pipe, bypass the grease trap, tie it all together and lay down a new pipe all the way to the City Main in the concrete alley.

Jeff's sewer was broken in the middle of the street allowing massive amounts of roots to infiltrate, plus the line is 180' long and he has a beautiful landscaped garden and fountains in the yard.
We were able to install 4" cleanouts at the house and in the yard, plus we replaced 100' of sewer pipe all the way across the street to the common tie in that he shares with a neighbor, all with as little damage as possible and without a massive 100' open excavation, using trenchless hydraulic pipe bursting.
Now we have two 4" access points to do any future cleaning that may be needed.

A BIG THANKS goes out to Brian for having the confidence in us to repair an unusual drain pipe problem.
Brian has a beautiful five year old home with some big sewer and drain issues.
The drains underneath the floor have heaved up through the concrete and the main pipe has shifted badly at the foundation. We were able to pinpoint the main sewer problem at the outside foundation wall, excavate and make repairs.
It was found that the builders had not used any bedding rock to lock the pipe in place, plus used cheap, less than code fittings in the original install. These two issues allowed the pipe to shift apart in only 5 years, causing backups and leaking sewage under the house and into the sump pit.

A BIG THANKS goes out to Les for having the confidence in us to repair his sewer line.
Les had three large root intrusions in his pipe that have been causing backups. One of the root intrusions was directly under his big new concrete porch, so conventional excavation was out of the question.
We exposed the pipe inside the basement and hydraulically pipe burst a new pipe through the foundation and out to the City sidewalk, taking care to replace all of the problem spots at one time. Les now has a new seamless PVC sewer pipe that should last a lifetime or more.

A BIG THANKS goes out to Erica for having the confidence in us to tackle an ongoing sewer problem.
Erica has been calling drain cleaning companies 3 to 4 times a year just to keep her drains from backing up. The last time it lasted only 7 weeks.
Nobody should have to live with sewage floods like this.
Another company tried to tell her that she needed a whole new sewer at a cost of @ $10000.00
We were able to pinpoint the cause of the backups with a full sewer scope and locate. An original rubber connection from clay to plastic pipe had failed, allowing the pipe to shift and separate. The rest of the line looks good, so we repaired the bad section, installed some 4" cleanouts and the problem is solved, at a fraction of the cost of a whole new sewer.

A BIG THANKS goes out to Greg at Lighthouse Dental for having the confidence in us to tackle an ongoing sewer problem.
Greg bought an old restaurant building to remodel into a modern dental facility. Although the remodel is beautiful, the sewer backs up so badly that they can't use the restrooms at all.
Greg called the plumbers that did the remodel and they wouldn't do anything to help, so we were called to clean out the sewer pipe.
We found that the old outside cast iron pipe had rotted out and and failed. We were able to pinpoint the spot, excavate and make repairs.
